Biography: North Darling

North without his glasses at Comedy Central, April 21st 2001

North is 28, he was born on the 28th of February in 1973 in the Slocan Valley of British Columbia in Canada. North is the straight guy (comedy wise, not sexual preference) of the group. Derek describes North as the handsome member of the group.

In 2000, North made an appearance without Eric and Derek at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in a solo show entitled "North Alone". This show was sponsored by Token Events. He also featured as one of the special guests in Eric and Derek's "Hot Nuts and Popcorn Variety Hour".

While the 3 Canadians were still together, in 1996, North starred as Scrooge in A Chrismoose Carol. This was directed by Dennis Cahill and performed at the Loose Moose Theatre in Calgary. The following year, the two reversed positions so that North was directing and Dennis was Scrooge.

On April 5th, 2001, The Age published an article written by North called "Getting Up to Monkey Business". It was one way of promoting "Space Monkeys" at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. Also at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2001, North performed with Derek at Melbourne's Comedy Central when Eric didn't show up.

North currently resides in Sydney, Australia.
